Treetown Kitchens

Treetown Kitchens is a long established design & joinery company specialising in kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and vanities based in Cambridge.

We are a company known for producing high quality kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and vanities – in fact any type of interior joinery at competitive prices. We build kitchens to last – No one regrets a quality job, is our motto.

Treetown Kitchens has built an enviable reputation for high quality workmanship and service. “Customers come to us, many of them for a second and third time because they know we go the extra mile to make sure the end result is exactly what they want.”

… Whether building new or renovating, we work with all styles of design and product to assist you in developing a kitchen (or interior fit out) reflective of your personal style and budget… “You show me a picture and I can build it” says Kevin “be it a $50.00 shelf or a $50,000 plus, kitchen the same quality product is produced”.

Originally LF Grey Joinery, then Treetown Joinery this business has traded in Cambridge for over 50 years. Purchased from the Woods in 2005 it is now Treetown Kitchens and owned by Kevin & Bridget Middlemiss. Kevin worked for the Woods at Treetown Joinery for more years than he would like to admit before buying the business. He and Bridget are married with three children and they live in Cambridge. With Bridget being a travel consultant and the kids involved in netball, rugby, swimming, cricket & dancing as well as the endless birthday parties, life is pretty full in the Middlemiss house.

Appreciating the fact other people lead busy lives means that as well as the business operating from 7 - 5 Monday - Friday Kevin is more than happy to schedule appointments after hours or on weekends to suit clients. With more than one session sometimes required to fine tune a kitchen layout this makes the design process quick & easy.

We look forward to hearing from you.

The design process ensures all kitchen laundry bathroom and joinery solutions are uniquely created for each client.

Interior Design

Juliet Green joined the team in June 2009, specialising in kitchen and bathroom design. Juliet is a qualified interior designer having spent 5 years of comprehensive study in design, and has spent many years working in the industry.

She is well versed in all aspects of kitchens, with the planning, designing and knowledge of products available and is happy to work with you to create your perfect kitchen, bathroom, walk-in wardrobe or interior fitout solution.

Our main aim is to provide a friendly open approach to the design process where we work alongside you; the client, to provide a full set of working drawings consisting of plans and computer aided 3D elevations. While we are happy to advise, at the end of the day it is your kitchen and we listen to what you say.

Onsite, in home consultation to measure and discuss style, budget and preferences etc

Computer designed drawings including floorplan, elevations and perspectives. We are happy to do 2 or 3 different designs to get exactly what you want.

Guidance to assist you in your selection of materials, including joinery, bench surfaces, splashback areas, handles and kitchen colours.

More than happy to give a base price for your kitchen and allow any upmarket or special features as an extra.

All units are manufactured in our workshop and we encourage clients to come in and view their kitchens during the manufacturing process. Kevin believes it is important to see what you are getting and often finer details are worked out with the client in the factory where you can see and work through the bones of your kitchen. It’s never too late to change things to ensure your 100% satisfaction.

All carcasses are constructed from 16mm moisture resistant MDF (no chipboard) with 2 mm PVC edging.

All fittings (BLUM hinges, runners etc) are top quality and have a lifetime guarantee.

Drawers are not tin sided, but made from solid materials. Our draw fronts never fall off.

We will oversee all stages of the manufacture and installation process through to completion of the job to ensure you are completely happy with the end result. From supply only, to full project management of the job including organising builders, plumbers, electricians etc, we can do as little or as much as you need.
