Hamilton Mobile Van ‘FullFill’ - a Special Project of the Society of St Vincent de PaulThe mobile van FullFill visits suburbs in Hamilton handing out free nutritious snacks and drinks to help recepients’ budgets stretch a little futher. As well as providing assistance in the short term, it's a tool, a ‘way in’, to help make contact with people, build relationships and trust and if required help put people in touch with the right social service.
For the volunteers there's the opportunity to mix with other sectors of society to help those less fortunate than themselves.
In 2011, it's expected around 54,000 sandwiches will be made for distribution via the FullFill van.
There can never be too many volunteers, so if you're interested in volunteering - which involves just a couple of hours each week or so, please phone George on 021 232 9128.
